Step-by-step instructions
iPhone / iPad
Safari only — does not work from Chrome or Firefox on iOS
Open pocketping.app in Safari
Tap the Share button at the bottom of the screen

Scroll down and tap "Add to Home Screen"
Give it a name (or leave it as PocketPing) and tap "Add"
PocketPing now appears on your home screen like a native app
On iPhone, tap and hold the icon to move it anywhere on your home screen or add it to your dock.
Android
Works in Chrome, Edge, and most Android browsers
Open pocketping.app in Chrome
Tap the three-dot menu (⋮) in the top right corner
Tap "Add to Home screen" or "Install app"
The exact wording varies by Android version
Tap "Install" on the prompt that appears
PocketPing is now installed and opens like any other app
Some Android devices will also show an "Install" banner automatically at the bottom of the screen when you visit.
Mac
Safari 17+ or Chrome
Open pocketping.app in Safari or Chrome
In Safari: go to File → Add to Dock
In Chrome: click the install icon (⊕) in the address bar, or go to the three-dot menu → "Save and share" → "Install page as app"
Click "Add" — PocketPing appears in your Dock and Launchpad
Windows
Chrome or Edge
Open pocketping.app in Chrome or Edge
Click the install icon (⊕) in the address bar
If you don't see it, click the three-dot menu
In Edge: click the three-dot menu → Apps → "Install this site as an app"
Click "Install" — PocketPing opens in its own window and is pinned to your taskbar
